I work in an office of the state farm. Am I underpaid?
I work for an agent of the State Farm decision 11 per hour. I have my property and licensing of the damage and I am also certified SF bank. I answer the phone, manage service work, managing basic functions / Manager of the sales office and home and auto insurance. Just won $ 20,000. If I had to actually use my medical indemnity insurance, there was still less take home! I feel like I’m underpaid. I often hear about others even in my position to pay much more. I live near Charlotte, North Carolina also so I’m not in the woods back of BFE somewhere. I requested an increase, but I really do not think it will happen because an excuse is always displayed. I’ve been here over a year and a half without any increase. I feel bad asking for money or make someone “uncomfortable” but I feel like I’m screwed. This is a small office at least 4 people and I’m a great job …. Do you think I pay enough? What should I do?
Yes, they are poorly paid. agents safe production are among the highest paid professions. Our agents are on average more than $ 100,000 a year and a stage with senior officials in recent years the company can earn $ 200,000 to $ 400,000 per year without breaking a sweat. Unlike State Farm is taking a big bite out of everything, leaving little to pay people like you. As an independent agent, which is responsible for finding their own clients, but you can buy cables (where there is no shortage of) and can work the house eliminating additional costs associated with their current job. Because you own licenses, not have to work at State Farm, State Farm may be … If you want to be. All you need much motivation.
